Balance and the feet. Thurs 6am

Pranayama Sahaja, Dirgha

Flowing warm up from OM Yoga.  Golf ball the feet then feel how the feet are open, warm and stable. Balance of tightrope then golf ball the feet again, frozen march balance, golf ball feet again, Tree balance in middle of floor then to the wall to refine it, golf ball feet again. A few standing strength postures to explore the newly open feet.  Hip side stretch, forward folds and twists.

Gentle awareness using King Kong Block to build strength and stretch. Mon 7pm Yum Yum

Seated in chair pranayama, Sahaja, Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana

Standing on a block allowing the flow of the hip to be a dangle to open the hip flexors, chair squats on the wall, step downs, wall push ups, calf stretch.

To the floor for shoulder and hip releases.  Gentle somatic stretches. Roll up for aromatherapy, Savasana.

Fabulous Feldendrais makes Yummy hips,back and thighs. Mon 7pm Yum Yum

Working with our breath seated tonight starting in cozy chairs.

Useing movements from a Feldenkrais book we will explore our pelvis, hips, back and thighs.

I am not sure how much we will get done tonight as Feldenkrais movements are slow and purposeful.  If you all like this we may make this a small series to move through the body.

Shoulder, hands and legs restore. Mon 7pm Yum Yum Yoga

Pranayama seated in the chair helping to bring awareness to the side and back body. Sahaja, Dirgha, Box breath.

Rolling out the tension in the shoulders with shoulder rolls, elbow rolls and arm circles.  Chest expansion with the breath.  Neck releases as well as opening up the hands and taking the fingers through range of motion.  Chair twist to squeeze the inner body and open the side body. Gentle stretches for the feet with the added golf ball touch.

Strength building standing leg lifts, chest expansion and knee squeeze.  Seated in chair cradle.  Moving to floor to set up Queens pose for a longer Savasana tonight.  Aromatherapy and Savasana.

Starting with finding the transverse abdoninals, multifindus, & pelvic diaphragm muscles and using them to understand the importance for the back  & neck and overall wellness.  Building strength in the glutes with clam shell and bridge then release into child.  Onto chair work tonight to strengthen the lower body, hip drops, chair squats, toe raises, wall push ups, Step downs, calf stretch, chair twist at wall.

Chin nods and circles.  Neck opener for savasana.  Can have legs up wall.
