Smoothing out the shoulders. Wed 7pm Yum Yum Hatha 132

Pranayama: over noodles

Fingers in the sand shoulder openers, cat rolls, thread the needle, Vajrasana chest opener. 1/4 dog on blocks, anahatasana.  To the wall with Doug Keller work, stretching it out with eagle arms and shoulder openers on the wall, waterfall on the wall to slide down to the floor.  Twists and folds, aromatherapy, Savasana

Yummy wall work and gentle relaxation. Wed 7pm Yum Yum

Pranayama:  Legs resting over seat of chair breath is full and deep.

Moving into a few gentle stretches and then to the wall for gentle warrior series to gently unwind the back. Gentle supported twists and forward folds before a long guided meditation. Savasana.

Using the wall to work wonders on the body. Mon 7pm Yum Yum

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana, using wall as support and as an alignment guide.

Cat rolls, cat to extended child flow for the spine.  To the wall for gentle wall flows, palm tree and raised standing balance.  Seated chair using wall to wake up quads. Moving to the floor for reclined tree, reclined cobbler to notice alignment in the hips, a few bridge rolls then to supported bridge and leg stretch to release the low back and prepare for Savasana.  Hip side stretch. Aromatherapy and Savasana.

Shoulders ~ Strength and stretch. Mon 530 Shanti Vinyasa

Too much we allow the world to churn us and our shoulders take much of the stress. Tonight we will open the shoulders as well as strengthen them with the use of flex bands to help us find the smaller, deeper muscles.

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha 

Warm up of cat rolls, thread the needle, chest expansion and side bending.  To the wall for Doug Keller work on the shoulders.  This is some of the best awareness work as well as being very strengthening and yet easy to remember.  Do this before class if you come early.  From here we will bring out the flex bands and now the harder work starts.  Down to the floor to feel the strength of these newly aware muscles with Dolphin plank, regular plank and perhaps side plank.  Using the strap to unwind and stretch the muscles with some Eric Shiffman shoulder openers.  Dandasana chest expansion, kneeling reverse hands.  Aromatherapy, Savasana

Finding balance in the New Year. Wed 7pm Yum Yum

Pranayama: Sahaja, Nadi Shodhana, Anuloma viloma

Cat rolls, extended cat rolls, sun bird, knee down side plank.  Facedown to cobra 1 rolls, opposite arm and leg lifts.  Standing raised standing 1 &2, Tree with back to wall, then knee on wall, dancer facing wall.  Wall chair to floor, tortoise twist using wall, Nadi Shodhana again.  Easy sit forward fold and walk side to side. armotherapy and savasana.

Freeing the spine, spinal flows. Mon 7pm Yum Yum Yoga

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana

Flowing with a wall series that is just sooo yummy it is almost as good as a chocolate.  Wall hangs to wall lifts, gentle warrior, raised wall lifts.  Palm tree, balance with raised standing 1 &2, half tortoise twist, free seat forward fold.  Legs up the wall to continue the wall series, bridge rolls, inverted V stretch, cradle, reclined twist, butterfly.    Aromatherapy & Savasana.

Pranayama: Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana, anoloma viloma.

Toe stretch, calf stretch, to standing.  The churnings to open and bring fluid to the joints.  Moving to the wall  for wall flows : spinal flows as well as gentle warrior to balance.  Palm tree to open the shoulders, wall chair  to legs up the wall for  bridge rolls, cradle and a twist.    Queens pose for Savasana.

Opening the back with gentle stretches. 7pm Yum Yum

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana

Moving to the wall to open the upper back and shoulders.  Body draped over bolster, feet on blocks at the wall, head on block and we will open like a flower here.   Using the wall for a backbend with the awareness of the dowel to awaken the side body.   Continuing with the wall for Triangle, Side Angle and Warrior 2  using blocks for alignment.   Finishing off the shoulder openers with some more wall work then a nice twist using the wall and a chair.  Nice Savasana with aromatherapy

Letting go of the week with wall flows and generous breath work.

Pranayama done with legs up the wall.  Finding comfort here.

Wall series: point & flex feet, bridge rolls, cradle, squat, wide leg, cobbler, cow face, twist.  Roll to seated mula rolls.  Standing at wall with more shoulder openers.  Wall chair to squat to floor,  Choice of legs up the wall for savasana or queens pose or what ever would feel good and yummy.

Opening the upper body with pranayama over 2 blocks, blanket or pillow what serves your body. Sahaja, Dirgha.

Moving into gentle yoga floor postures with support of blankets, pillows and sandbags.  Tree, Happy Baby, Knees to Chest, Hamstring stretch with 2 straps,Hip side stretch, Cobbler.

Moving to the wall basic squat to legs up the wall.  Knees to chest, bridge rolls, wide squat, happy baby, wide leg, cradle, cobbler,knees to chest and a twist.  Can stay here for Savasana or can come down to what ever is yummy for you.
