Tri Yoga Turns always fun. Monday 530 Shanti Vinyasa

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana

Gentle flow of a sun salutation with added cat bows 1 & 2, 1/2 hanumanasana to open the hips for the turns.  Working on the turns regular cat turns and the ever popular downward dog, swan, squat tortoise, cat, downward dog and repeat.  Using blocks helps with the move from squat tortoise to cat and then to downward dog.  Squat to forward fold back and forth then to basic hand balance.  L-Seat with 1/2 cowface pose or both legs in cowface pose, cobbler with forward fold, basic squat to roll down to hip side stretch.  Oils and Savasana.

Yummy wall work and gentle relaxation. Wed 7pm Yum Yum

Pranayama:  Legs resting over seat of chair breath is full and deep.

Moving into a few gentle stretches and then to the wall for gentle warrior series to gently unwind the back. Gentle supported twists and forward folds before a long guided meditation. Savasana.

Pranayama over two blocks to open the chest from the week

Two regular Sun Salutation to see how these are feeling.  Golf ball the feet and balance postures, tightrope, Shiva, tree.  Quad stretch standing and using the wall. Forward fold series regular and with feet wide. seated folds and twists Aromatherapy and Savasana

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha

Cat rolls, hip circles to open up the hips. Sun Salutation with swan to downward dog alternating moves, raised runner with prayer twist, 1/2 hanumanasana, vinyasa to wide leg forward fold to Skanda. Dolphin with dolphin planks with leg raises, walking in to get feeling of forearm balance.  Downward dog, hop forward to crow balance position repeat then move into crow balance, hop back to plank ?? Hop feet outside hands for firefly, malasana. Squat using 2 blocks then Tolasana hand balance, toe stretch and toe balance.  twist and folds to round out the class.

Yummy sun breath between postures to relax the mind. Mon 530 Yum Yum

Pranayama over folded blanket to relax the shoulders and open then chest. Sahaja, Dirgha, Box

Sun breath supine will be the link between all postures tonight. Bridge, chin nod, table top knees, reclined tree, reclined cobbler, supine twist, lumbar stretch, 1/2 locust, cat rolls, pelvis leveler, neck rolls, aromatherapy and Savasana

Mudras with the flow. Mon 530 Shanti Vinyasa

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha, Box breath, shining skull with holds

Cat rolls, 1/2 tortoise rolls with twist, easy seat with forward fold and twist, toe stretch with flowing mudras, 10 churnings, warm up gentle flow to balance with dancing Shiva. Cat bows,to standing strength flow with mudras, forward fold to extended leg squat, basic hand balance, L-Seat fold to hip side stretch, reclined free seat. Aromatherapy and Savasana

Joyful strength practice. Friday 1115am

Pranayama, Shaja, Dirgha, Box breath

Toe stretch, toe balance, 10 churnings, breath of joy.  Sun salutation with 1/2 Hanuman, Parsvotanasana, swan, archer, warrior 1, chair.   Balance tree to eagle to dancer.  Standing strength to back strength, forward folds and twists.

Few cat rolls and toe stretch, opening the hands with stretches. Standing and opening the feet with a golf ball really feeling the areas that are tender. Moving through some flows that have strength building in them with cat bows. Hip openers, standing postures including 1/2 moon, pigeon, double pigeon, 1/2 lord of the fishes, janu sirsasana.

Balance and the feet. Thurs 6am

Pranayama Sahaja, Dirgha

Flowing warm up from OM Yoga.  Golf ball the feet then feel how the feet are open, warm and stable. Balance of tightrope then golf ball the feet again, frozen march balance, golf ball feet again, Tree balance in middle of floor then to the wall to refine it, golf ball feet again. A few standing strength postures to explore the newly open feet.  Hip side stretch, forward folds and twists.

Looking a strength and stability in the shoulders. Wed 530pm Fundamentals

Pranayama: Sahaja, Dirgha, Ujjai

Cat rolls, cat bows, 1/4 dog,  downward facing dog, plank, forearm plank, to dolphin, 4 legged table. Shoulder work at the wall (Doug Keller), chest expansion, shoulder stretches on the wall, releasing the shoulders with shoulder openers with a strap.
